Ingredients: (Makes approximately 20 slices)
- 150g Dark Chocolate
- 200g Butter
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup plain flour
- ¼ cup self raising flour
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 cup walnut pieces
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) or Gas mark 4.
- Grease and line a lamington tin
- Heat the butter and chocolate slowly, stirring until smooth.
- Add the cocoa and sugar and stir in to the warm chocolate mixture.
- Add the eggs in three or four goes, stirring between each addition.
- Add the flours and stir in gradually.
- Add the honey and stir thoroughly.
- Lastly, add the walnut pieces.
- Pour the Brownie mixture into the prepared tin and spread to make it level.
- Bake for 35 minutes. A skewer inserted into the side of the mix will come away clean, but the centre should remain gooey.
- Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
- Cut into squares and dust with drinking chocolate.
